Hello, my name is Ariele Parker. As a dedicated pracademic, my work intersects the realms of academia and practical application, focusing on environmental sustainability and tech-enabled wellness. With a Master's degree in Sustainability, I have cultivated a deep understanding of pro-social and pro-environmental practices and their impact on consumer behavior. Currently, I am advancing my expertise through Ph.D applications at Stanford University, where my research plans to emphasize the importance of ecological awareness and human wellness.
My professional journey includes diverse roles in marketing, such as Director of Communications, Sustainable Product Design Lead, Sports Agent, Founder & CEO of a marketing agency aimed at social change, and National Brand Manager. These experiences have equipped me with a unique perspective on driving pro-social and pro-environmental growth in business and policy.
In addition to my academic and professional pursuits, I engage in various outdoor activities, exploring the natural landscapes of California, Mexico, Japan, and the Okanagan Valley. I have recently taken a great interest in learning the sport of free diving. I believe that outdoor physical activities enrich our understanding and appreciation of our planet's diverse ecosystems and help us to understand better our planet’s needs and how we can achieve more sustainable lifestyles.

Every good adventure starts with a strategically packed suitcase of essential basics. Once you take your full wardrobe to dark neutral you realize there is no better way to look put together and always clean. Clean is a big bonus. An even bigger bonus is a lint roller and a good non-shedding emotional support pup that loves the water. The intersection of pro-social and pro-environmental causes can become a long-term sustainable lifestyle change. That’s the sweet spot between academic research and practical application. Let’s pursue the greater good together (furry friends included).
